John Stough

With over 40 years of experience in real estate sales and management, John Stough is a seasoned professional known for his expertise in premier estates, architectural distinction, relocation, and corporate moves. A 1977 graduate of Hampden Sydney College, John has been a key figure in the Louisville real estate community, having served as the executive vice president and managing broker at Semonin Realtors and as a co-founder and Principal Broker of Kentucky Select Properties since its inception in 2004. A native Louisvillian, John is pleased to contribute to both his industry and his community by serving in many capacities. He has served as Vice President of the Greater Louisville Board of Realtors as well as a director and as chairman of the Professional Standards Committee. He has served on the board for the Louisville Ballet for over 20 years, is a graduate of Leadership Louisville and Focus Louisville, served on the boards of Family and Children First, and is apart of the Executive Committee for the Historic Homes Foundation. John is also a member of Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate, serving on the LRE® Executive Committee, with the honor of representing our territory and serving as a leading authority to our region.

Mac Barlow

A Louisville native, Mac Barlow brings a unique perspective to the team. He graduated from Kentucky Country Day for high school and earned his college degree from Sewanee: The University of the South. During college, Mac was a member of the student-run Sewanee volunteer fire department, eventually becoming Assistant Chief. Before entering real estate, Mac worked in medical device sales in Nashville, where he spent over 4 years honing his skills. His real estate tenure in Nashville included working for a top-ranked team at Keller Williams Realty, giving him invaluable experience in a competitive market. He became a Realtor® out of a sincere interest in helping others and a love for residential architectural design. Real estate combines the two and allows him to do what he does best by assisting clients in both buying and selling their home.
